All. Drama. provides students with special needs the opportunity to showcase their talent and have fun especially during these unconventional times.
I am a senior at York High School. I love the performing arts and I have performed in lead, supporting, and ensemble roles over the years through York Drama and local theater organizations. My younger brother, Calvin, truly inspires me. He has special needs, but it never stops him from making your day happy and bright.
About the Summer 2020 Program
For a variety of reasons, many kids with special needs may not otherwise have the opportunity to shine in a drama production. All Drama is a way to provide kids with an opportunity they may not have had otherwise, to bring them the joy of acting. I keep it simple. Scripts are tailored to the needs of our cast. Just like you, we know how to 'rewrite the script' as we go along. The cast is very special to me. I understand there are limitations. Don't worry. I am both patient and kind.
I build a relationship with each of your students and provide them with a fun and engaging summer drama activity. With these values in mind, the scripts have 12 parts in total open to students from 4th grade through seniors in high school. The first 12 to sign up will all have a part.
Given the current pandemic situation, the Summer 2020 program will be conducted via Google Meet. It will be brought together in a final video of the performance.

Below I have linked my resume and the program outline. If you decide to take part in this free program, I will make it as easy as possible on your schedule. Everyone who signs up is given a consistent time slot each week for a small group (used to explain the main objectives and plan for the day) as well as a personalized slot for 1:1 coaching and practice. The only unique times will be the first informational session and strike (the drama term for the wrap up).
